API Development Engineer - Team Lead
Job description
A global bank with a strong technology presence is looking for an API Architect-Engineer to join their team in Singapore as a Team Lead/Development Manager. In this role, you will own the delivery for both in-house API development and vendor (Axway) projects within the Transaction Banking and Payments division.
Role
Work with a technology team including architects, testers and engineers to deliver projects and change requests via in-house development or vendor (Axway).
Manage stakeholder expectations and establish best or alternative solutions that are feasible within the technology and timeline constraints.
Manage delivery of initiatives – planning, managing vendor and in-house development, solutioning, implementing and maintaining software applications systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
Considered an API subject-matter-expert, with deep technical knowledge on API Gateway /Portal products as well as Integration Architecture API Lifecycle.
Deep experience in Integration Architecture API Lifecycle
Hands on experience with Java (Springboot).
Experience managing an engineering team and involvement in large-scale complex engineering projects.
Salary - $220k base (Negotiable)
