Lead Platform Engineer

​We are excited to be partnering with a leading fintech platform in Asia that empowers millions of users to make better financial decisions through technology and data.
As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a skilled Lead Platform Engineer to strengthen their cloud infrastructure team and drive the delivery of high-performing, secure, and scalable systems across their platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and coaching.

  • Write, review, and optimise production-grade code in React, Node.js, and Docker (70% hands-on).

  • Design and implement scalable system architectures and efficient API integrations.

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

  • Manage sprints, prioritize workloads, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with solid leadership in full-stack development.

  • Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.

  • Strong background in microservices, GraphQL APIs, and database design (SQL & NoSQL).

  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).

  • Deep understanding of web security, cloud-native architectures, and system performance optimisation.
