Vice President - Data Science

​An exciting opportunity to join a leading global bank and lead a data science team dedicated to managing risks and controls across Data, Cloud, and AI, with a strong focus on responsible and ethical AI practices.
This role offers the chance to modernise and automate control frameworks using AI/ML, while developing scalable, high-impact models that safeguard critical systems.

🌟 What You'll Do
  • Interpret and apply governance policies related to Data, Cloud, and AI risks.

  • Identify and manage risks associated with Generative and Responsible AI.

  • Modernise and automate control frameworks through AI/ML and advanced analytics.

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable, accurate AI/ML models and pipelines.

  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and SMEs to integrate solutions into enterprise systems.

  • Deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions aligned with SDLC standards.

  • Communicate complex technical and risk concepts to senior stakeholders.

  • Stay current with AI/ML advancements and promote continuous improvement.

✅ What We're Looking For
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 10+ years in data and analytics, with strong ML/statistical modeling expertise.

  • Experience designing, deploying, and scaling AI/ML model pipelines.

  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools.

  • Skilled in managing complex, unstructured data and applying responsible AI practices.

  • Familiar with SDLC, application security, and scalable system design.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
