Head of Data Analytics

​Most “Head of Data and AI” roles are glorified platform/ program ownership roles. This isn't one of them.

We are conducting a confidential search for a senior executive to take ownership of enterprise data and AI strategy for a large, Fortune 500 globally scaled organisation undergoing a major digital and AI transformation. This role reports into global executive leadership and carries direct visibility at board level.

If your experience sits at departmental, regional, or purely technical leadership level, this role will NOT be the right fit. This role requires technical, large team and global stakeholder management experience.

🎯Your mandate

• Own and execute the enterprise data and AI strategy across a large international organisation

• Establish modern governance, regulatory alignment, privacy and security frameworks

• Oversee full lifecycle: architecture, engineering, platforms, analytics, AI/ML and BI

• Turn data into measurable commercial leverage, not just reporting infrastructure

• Partner directly with C-suite leaders to shape operational and strategic decisions

• Lead large cross-functional teams spanning data engineering, science and analytics

• Drive organisation-wide data culture, literacy and adoption

• Deliver board-level reporting on progress, risks and value realisation

🧭This role is ONLY suited to leaders who have:

✔ Led and Delivered enterprise data and AI strategy across organisations with thousands of employees

✔ Personally owned governance and regulatory data frameworks at scale

✔ Managed large multi-disciplinary data organisations (not small specialist teams) of 300+

✔ Delivered measurable business impact from AI / advanced analytics programmes

✔ Operated credibly with C-suite, regulators, and board stakeholders

✔ Experience transforming legacy data environments into modern cloud ecosystems

🚫This role is NOT suited to candidates whose background is primarily:

• Hands-on individual contributor or architect without enterprise ownership

• Head of BI / reporting without full data lifecycle leadership

• Manager of small analytics or data science teams

• Purely consulting advisory without operational leadership accountability

This role is open to candidates that are keen to relocate to Bengaluru.

Total comp range is between INR 2.75 - 3.3 Crores.
