Senior Engineering Manager
Job description
An exciting opportunity has opened up with a globally renowned blue-chip finance firm seeking a senior engineering manager to take ownership of Derivatives Post Trade Technology function. In this role, you will be building and overseeing multiple globally distributed engineering teams and serve as the technical figurehead for all post-trade technology services in APAC. It is a senior mandate facing off to multiple senior stakeholders across functional and technology division.
Role
Manage several senior developers and take ownership for success of the teams and their initiatives.
Contribute to the definition of the platform technical roadmap and clarify the strategic direction to the teams.
Take ownership for the delivery effectiveness of several Agile development squads. Provide technical stewardship, primarily at the level of architecture, system design, product, and service delivery processes
Requirements
10+ years of experience with Java development.
8+ years of experience driving multi-discipline software development teams in financial services.
Strong experience in building financial software.
Strong financial markets knowledge in derivatives products.
Experience in team mentorship and people management.
Salary: Negotiable, up to $275k
