Our client, a rapidly growing start-up at the forefront of AI and IoT-enabled energy management solutions, is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that drives the global transition to net zero.
 
🔹 Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with AI/ML, software, UX, and platform teams to embed security throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Design, implement, and maintain security features for advanced energy management platforms.

  • Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and lead remediation efforts.

  • Develop, document, and enforce security best practices, policies, and procedures.

  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, trends, and technologies, recommending proactive enhancements.

  • Support incident response activities and lead post-incident reviews.

  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of security awareness across the organisation.

 

🔹 What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.

  • Experience product security engineering, ideally within software or IoT environments.

  • Expertise in secure software development, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.

  • Familiarity with cloud security, encryption methods, authentication protocols, and compliance standards.

  • Proficiency in security scripting or programming languages.

  • Evidence of good communication skills capable of conveying complex security concepts to varied audiences.

  • Experience working within agile, cross-functional teams is highly desirable.
