We’re partnering with a top-tier global financial institution to hire a Senior Python Software Engineer for a high-impact, engineering-led team. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to firmwide platforms and tools that directly support thousands of users — from traders and risk managers to security and operations teams.
This isn’t just another software job. You’ll be building critical internal systems, influencing architecture and tooling decisions, and driving engineering best practices in a truly agile, globally distributed environment.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Build and maintain Python-based platforms and tooling used across the firm
Contribute to system architecture, design, and implementation
Stay hands-on across the entire SDLC — from planning and coding to testing and deployment
Interface with CI/CD pipelines, databases (SQL, NoSQL, Graph), and open-source frameworks
Work in a collaborative team environment, focused on engineering excellence
✅ What We’re Looking For
Proven Python experience in a production environment
Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals – clean code, testing, documentation
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity
Experience with relational or non-relational databases
Comfort in Linux-based environments and scripting
Exposure to Agile development practices
Any exposure to AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, LangChain, etc.) is helpful but not required — this is a Python-first, engineering-focused role.
