Job description
We are partnering with a prestigious blue-chip financial institution. They are seeking talented Core Java Software Engineers to join their front office Algo Trading team in Singapore. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of their highest revenue-generating desks, where you will build cutting-edge trading and pricing systems used directly in live markets.
You will be part of an elite engineering group renowned for its technical excellence, working alongside some of the industry’s top low-latency and high-performance computing specialists. The team collaborates closely with traders and quants, giving you direct exposure to the trading desk and the ability to make a visible impact on PnL.
🔍 Responsibilities
Design and develop high-performance, low-latency trading and pricing systems
Work closely with traders and quants to build solutions that drive trading strategies
Optimise system performance, throughput, and reliability in a real-time environment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of system architecture and engineering practices
🎯 Requirements
5–12 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong Core Java programming skills
Prior experience in a Front Office Trading Technology environment
Solid expertise in multi-threading and concurrent programming
Experience with performance tuning or low-latency systems is a strong advantage
Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc.)

Salary: Up to SGD 250k per annum (negotiable)
