Program Director - Transaction Banking

​A leading global bank is seeking a visionary and results-driven Technical Program Director to lead its Transaction Banking initiatives across Cash Management and Payments. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategic transformation, overseeing complex program delivery, and shaping the future of digital banking in the Asia region.

🔍 Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale programs in Transaction Banking, with a focus on Cash Management and Payments

  • Define and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Operations, and Compliance to ensure seamless execution

  • Drive innovation in digital payments, real-time cash solutions, and API-based banking services

  • Manage stakeholder expectations across regional and global teams, ensuring transparency and accountability

  • Monitor program performance, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies across multiple workstreams

  • Champion agile methodologies and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery

🎯 Requirements

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in banking technology, with at least 10 years in Transaction Banking (Cash & Payments)

  • Proven track record in leading complex transformation programs across Asia markets

  • Deep domain expertise in payment systems, cash management platforms, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and real-time payment infrastructures

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and market dynamics in APAC (e.g., MAS, BSP, HKMA)

  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills

  • Experience working in matrixed, multicultural environments with global delivery teams

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
