Our client is seeking a visionary Head of Platforms to lead the transformation of their core technology infrastructure. This is a rare and strategic leadership role that will drive platform modernisation, cloud adoption, and DevOps excellence across a complex, fast-evolving enterprise.

πŸš€ What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that serve as the foundation of a digital-first banking ecosystem

  • Spearhead the modernisation of legacy systems through cloud-native architecture and infrastructure-as-code approaches

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver seamless, customer-centric digital experiences

  • Champion DevOps best practices to accelerate delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance, security, and operational integrity

  • Set the technology vision and roadmap for the platform domain, aligning with broader enterprise and digital transformation goals

βœ… What You’ll Bring

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with deep expertise in platform engineering, cloud computing, and DevOps principles

  • Proven track record in the Financial Services Industry (FSI), ideally within banking, fintech, or insurance

  • Strong technical foundation in infrastructure, CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Experience leading large-scale platform transformations and managing cross-functional engineering teams

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation, risk, and operational excellence

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
