Head of Product - Client Engagement
Job description
A leading financial institution is seeking a Head of Product, Client Engagement to build and lead a new function focused on driving customer activation, engagement, loyalty, and long‑term value across its businesses.
You will define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital client engagement across mobile and web platforms. This includes designing personalised digital journeys, lifecycle engagement, rewards, and loyalty experiences, as well as innovative features that deepen customer relationships.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership, this is a pivotal founding role responsible for shaping the product direction, building the team from the ground up, and driving cross‑functional alignment across Digital, Marketing, Data, Design, and Technology teams.
Responsibilities
Own the end‑to‑end product strategy for digital client engagement across markets.
Develop engagement features such as personalised journeys, gamification, nudges, offers, milestones, and retention mechanisms.
Lead lifecycle engagement initiatives across channels (mobile, web, push, in‑app, email) to strengthen activation, usage, and retention.
Build and refine rewards and loyalty experiences that increase customer stickiness and lifetime value.
Use data, insights, analytics and customer behavior trends to continuously optimize engagement strategies.
Partner closely with cross‑functional stakeholders (digital, design, product, segment, analytics, marketing, tech).
Provide senior leadership, governance, and direction across engagement initiatives.
Build, grow and manage a new product team, shaping culture, capability, and operating models.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience as a Digital Product Head / Product Lead in engagement, lifecycle, growth, or loyalty.
Creative and strategic thinker with experience delivering customer‑centric digital journeys.
Must have hands‑on experience with GTM platforms for mobile and web, especially for campaign execution, tagging, funnel measurement, and digital engagement flows.
Experience in rewards, loyalty, gamification, or value‑based engagement programs is a strong advantage.
International or multi‑market product experience preferred.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and scale a brand‑new team.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑market collaboration capabilities.
Salary & Benefits
MYR 50,000 – 60,000 per month
