Engineering Manager
Job description
A leading bank in Manila is currently hiring an Engineering Manager for their digital solutions and payments team. You will be overseeing the design and implementation of software applications, managing a high-performing team, and ensure project delivery aligns with business goals.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering collaboration and innovation
Manage project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality
Provide technical guidance in software development and architecture
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements
Set performance expectations and conduct team member evaluations
Contribute to the engineering strategy and risk management
Requirements
Hands-on technical lead with experience in Java
Familiarity with APIs and microservices
Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies
Experienced in managing technical teams
Industry background in the BFSI space or similar is preferred
Salary: Up to PHP600K per month
