Senior Engineering Lead

Job description

We are working with a leading bank seeking a Senior Engineering Lead to own a large-scale wealth management platform used by millions of customers. This role suits a senior engineering leader who operates at architecture, platform, and strategy level, while staying close to modern full-stack engineering and guiding high-performing teams.​

 

Responsibilities

  • Own engineering and architecture strategy for enterprise wealth management platforms

  • Lead and mentor multiple full-stack engineering squads

  • Champion modern engineering practices including microservices, micro-frontends, CI/CD and DevOps

  • Partner with senior product and business stakeholders on long-term technology direction

 

Requirements

  • Strong Java engineering experience is a must

  • Deep background building and leading large-scale full-stack platforms

  • Hands-on commercial experience with React and Python is beneficial

  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures

  • Proven experience leading senior engineers and influencing at leadership level

  • Exposure to wealth management, investment products, or advisory platforms
