Retail Service Delivery Lead – Unsecured Lending
Job description
We are partnering with a leading Philippine bank embarking on a major multi-year modernisation journey — including a full Card Management System (CMS) replacement and the transformation of its unsecured lending platforms. As part of this strategic agenda, the bank is hiring a Retail Service Delivery Head – Unsecured Lending (FVP Level) to lead technology strategy, solution delivery, and vendor governance across all cards and lending platforms.
This is a senior leadership role with enterprise-wide visibility and influence, working closely with Retail Banking, Cards Business, Enterprise Architecture, Technology, Operations, Risk, and the Executive Committee.
🔑 Responsibilities
Own the technology strategy and delivery roadmap for all unsecured lending platforms, including credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit, and digital servicing ecosystems.
Lead solution design and architecture direction for the CMS replacement program, ensuring alignment across integration patterns, migration strategy, and enterprise risk controls.
Oversee end-to-end delivery — requirements, vendor build/configuration, integration, testing, cutover, and hyper-care — for all unsecured lending initiatives.
Champion integrated customer journeys across third-party platforms (CMS, LOS, servicing, collections, rewards, xPay), ensuring scalability, resilience, and operational readiness.
Drive cross-functional governance, engaging senior stakeholders and providing clear insight on program status, risks, and key decisions.
🎯 Requirements
15+ years’ experience in banking or financial services technology, with deep exposure to unsecured lending and card issuing platforms.
Proven leadership in large-scale, complex platform implementations (CMS, LOS, loan servicing), including multi-phase migrations and high-risk cutovers.
Strong expertise in solution design, integration, vendor management, and delivery governance for enterprise third-party systems.
Solid understanding of issuer-side payments: Mastercard/Visa integrations, xPay/tokenisation, authorisation, clearing & settlement.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at CTO, CIO, COO, CRO, and ExCo levels.
