Retail Service Delivery Lead – Cards
Job description
We are partnering with a leading financial institution undergoing significant modernization in its cards and payments technology stack — including a major Card Management System (CMS) replacement program. To support this transformation, the bank is seeking a Retail Service Delivery Lead – Cards (VP Level) to own end-to-end technology delivery and service performance across the card issuing portfolio.
🔑 Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery across the Cards portfolio, covering CMS, xPay, regulatory projects, risk controls, and business-driven enhancements.
Drive execution of the CMS replacement program, managing requirements, solution design, vendor build/configuration, integration, testing, cutover, and hyper-care.
Oversee 3rd-party cards platforms (CMS, rewards, tokenisation, collections, disputes, digital channels) and ensure seamless end-to-end solution integration.
Manage testing, certification, and go-live readiness — including regression, performance, and Mastercard/Visa/xPay certifications.
Own BAU service performance, managing SLAs/OLAs, resolving incidents, and ensuring high platform stability through close collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
🎯 Requirements
8–12 years of IT delivery, project, or program management experience in banking or payments, with direct exposure to card issuing platforms.
Demonstrated success leading major card technology initiatives — ideally CMS implementations, card migrations, or xPay enablement.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields; postgraduate studies are a plus.
Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile/SAFe, ITIL or similar are highly preferred.
Strong understanding of cards & payments, solution design, vendor management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
💼 What's In It For You
Flexible salary budget based on experience.
Lead one of the bank’s most strategic transformation programs in cards and payments.
Enjoy a hybrid work setup and a culture built on collaboration, continuous improvement, and ownership.
Join a well-supported environment with strong vendor partnerships and a clear long-term modernisation roadmap.
