Regulatory Compliance Senior Specialist (Senior AVP/VP)

We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Senior Specialist to join a growing digital bank. The candidate will be working in a dynamic team of compliance professionals covering regional advisory.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison officer for regulatory bodies such as MAS, HKMA Etc.

  • Provide regulatory compliance advisory to business and function stakeholders in relation to the Banking Act.

  • Ensuring compliance adherence to the Singapore regulations for the Bank by ensuring Compliance policies and procedures are accurately updated.

  • Monitor new regulatory requirements to relevant stakeholders and senior management.

  • Addressing inspections queries from the regulators, internal and external auditors.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, Business or Law, or relevant professional qualification in financial services.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory, compliance or advisory roles in a financial institution, preferably at banks.

  • Prior experience working as a regulator is a plus.

  • Sound understanding of the regulatory landscape and relevant laws and regulation.

  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
