Job description
We are partnering with a leading professional services firm to hire a Finance Director based in Singapore, overseeing operations across Southeast Asia. This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced finance professional with a strong strategic mindset and the ability to lead cross-border teams in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
You will take charge of the full finance function across the region, guiding a high-performing team of 10+ professionals. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping financial strategy, driving operational efficiency, and enabling commercial success across multiple jurisdictions.
🌟What You’ll Do
Provide financial leadership and strategic insight across SEA, aligning regional performance with global objectives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax, audit, and treasury operations.
Partner with project and operational leaders to improve profitability through accurate project costing and margin analysis.
Enhance and scale financial systems and processes to support business growth.
Ensure full compliance with financial regulations across all jurisdictions.
Develop and mentor a high-impact regional finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Contribute to executive-level decision-making as a key member of the regional leadership team.
✅What We’re Looking For
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CA or equivalent strongly preferred.
10+ years of finance leadership experience, with regional exposure in Southeast Asia.
Background in professional services (e.g., consulting, legal) is highly advantageous.
Demonstrable ability project costing, commercial finance, and stakeholder engagement.
Working knowledge of regional financial compliance and statutory obligations.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-border teams and driving strategic outcomes.
Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
