Vice President– Credit Risk
Job description
We are partnering with a leading bank to hire a seasoned Senior Credit Risk Manager to independently assess and structure complex corporate banking transactions. This strategic role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and offers strong visibility with senior stakeholders.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Credit Risk Evaluation: Review and challenge credit proposals, providing expert advice on risk appetite, structuring, and due diligence for large corporate clients.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Business, Risk, and support functions regionally, participating in deal screening and presenting to senior management.
Portfolio Oversight: Monitor a portfolio of corporate clients, identify emerging risks, and recommend mitigating strategies.
Documentation & Structuring: Review term sheets, loan documents, and derivative agreements (ISDA/CSA) to ensure compliance with internal risk standards.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff and promote a collaborative, teams culture.
Policy & Projects: Contribute to credit policy development and participate in strategic initiatives across the organisation.
✅ What We're Looking For
Minimum 7 years in corporate credit risk (with a focus on large corporates).
Demonstrable analytical skills in financial and cash flow analysis.
Familiarity with a range of banking products (e.g., lending, trade finance, structured finance, derivatives).
Evidence of good communication skills ability to convey complex risks effectively.
Regional experience in Asia and a collaborative approach to cross-border engagements.
