As part of this expansion, they are seeking an experienced Lead Murex Engineer to head up their Murex function and drive the technical strategy, design, and delivery of high-performance solutions across FICC.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a global, fast-paced environment β€” ideal for someone who thrives on solving deep technical challenges while steering development teams and strategies at scale.

πŸ’Ό Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Murex MX.3 components and integrations

  • Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support to globally distributed engineering teams

  • Collaborate closely with trading, risk, and technology stakeholders to define priorities and system design

  • Build and deploy business logic, tools, and automation to support production trading workflows

  • Drive system stability and performance across front-to-back operations

  • Participate in on-call rotations and production support as needed

πŸ” What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in financial technology, with deep expertise in Murex

  • Proven leadership in complex, high-performance trading environments

  • Strong skills in Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, XML, and messaging technologies (e.g., MQ, Kafka)

  • Deep understanding of Murex MX.3.1 architecture, configuration, and pre-trade rules

  • Solid domain knowledge across FICC products

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within global agile teams
