Senior Murex Developer / Engineer

​A leading global financial institution is rapidly expanding its cutting-edge technology hub in Singapore. As part of this growth, they are seeking seasoned Senior Murex Developers/Engineers to join our elite Global Delivery Team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the firm’s Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) businesses building, enhancing, and supporting mission-critical trading and risk systems.
You will play a vital role in shaping high-performance, resilient technology solutions that power global trading desks and drive innovation across capital markets.

🔧 What You'll Do
  • Lead the development and maintenance of Murex 3.1 trading and risk platforms, ensuring optimal performance and availability.

  • Manage Murex environment configuration and integration with FICC modules and Java-based systems.

  • Design and implement MXML workflows, Datamart reports, and integration scripts.

  • Deliver expert support across Unix/Linux, SQL, XML, and messaging systems (MQ, Kafka).

  • Troubleshoot and optimize End-of-Day (EOD) processes for stability and efficiency.

  • Participate in Agile sprints, change management, and production deployments.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-office users, quants, and support engineers to deliver business-critical solutions.

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in Murex development, engineering, or support roles in financial trading environments.

  • Deep expertise in Murex components – including MXML, Datamart, Collateral, and Risk modules.

  • Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Bash, and Python.

  • Proficiency in Oracle or Sybase SQL databases.

  • Familiarity with Linux, CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Jenkins), and Agile frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Salary: SGD 13,000 – 16,000 per month
