Our client is one of the world’s top 3 cryptocurrency exchanges, with over 4,000 employees globally, and a rapidly expanding presence across Asia and Europe. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong Crypto Trading Technology Lead to heads up Derivatives Trading Technology in their Hong Kong office.

🔧 What You'll Do
  • Lead the Derivatives trading technology domain — including matching engine, market data systems, market connectivity, risk control modules, core infrastructure, and trading security.

  • Oversee multiple high-performance engineering teams (Matching Engine, Market Data & Connectivity, Risk & Compliance Tech, Infrastructure & Security)

  • Partner closely with Spot, Perpetuals, Futures, and Options trading desks to ensure technology evolves in step with market trends, liquidity demands, and new product launches.

  • Crypto market Volatility - Architect and optimise trading systems, high throughput, and exchange-grade resilience

✅ What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in leading, building and scaling trading technology at a crypto exchange, stock exchange, HFT firm, or securities trading platform.

  • Hands-on experience or deep technical expertise in trading infrastructure and trading engine architecture, including low-latency matching, order routing, and market data dissemination.

  • Strong programming background, with mastery of C++ for high-performance, low-latency systems.

  • Deep understanding of market microstructure for both crypto and traditional asset classes.

  • Fluency in Chinese required; English proficiency is preferred for global collaboration.
