Lead Data Engineer, Databricks
Job description
This is an agency one year contract role with the potential to go permanent.
An excellent opportunity to work with one of the world's largest commodities firms, the role will be responsible for the setting up of the databricks platform including design, data ingestion, best practices and rules.
The role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and enable the implementation of the databricks platform that will help advance the firms capabilities in data analysis and machine learning.
Requirements:
10+ years of data engineering experience with strong Databricks experience
Experienced with implementing databricks platform in an enterprise platform
Experienced working with and educating senior business stakeholders on best practices
Able to independently lead and drive project initiatives relating to data engineering
