Java Engineering Manager
Job description
Be part of an exciting transformation initiative aimed at enhancing wholesale banking transactions across the business. A global financial institution is seeking a strong engineering manager with strengths in Java and Microservices tools.
Job Responsibilities
Drive large scale programs across a payments function, defining business requirements and partnering with business stakeholders
Lead an agile squad team consisting of in-house developers and vendors, driving best practices in software development
Ensure that projects are completed within specified timelines while also meeting various performance metrics, including latency and fault tolerance.
Drive engineering excellence across various phases of the Software engineering life cycle, such as unit and integration testing, debugging, performance tuning , security and data protection
Job Requirements
At least 12+ years of experience in application development and 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
A strong background developing platforms and solutions in Java, and other microservices tools such as Apache NiFI, Spark, etc.
Experience leading large scale projects across various phases of the development cycle.
A background working on payments projects and Real-Time data analytics is a strong advantage
