We’re partnering with one of the largest and most trusted financial institutions in the Philippines to appoint a Head of Business Intelligence (BI). This is a pivotal leadership role driving enterprise-wide BI strategy, reporting, analytics innovation, and data-driven decision-making across the bank.

🔍 Responsibilities

📊 Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead the BI strategy in alignment with business goals and regulatory standards

  • Design and evolve enterprise analytics and reporting frameworks

  • Partner with senior leaders across Retail, Corporate, Risk, Compliance, and more to deliver strategic insights

👥 Team Management

  • Build and manage a high-performing BI team (data analysts, engineers, and reporting specialists)

  • Drive talent development, mentorship, and a culture of innovation and accountability

📈 Data & Analytics

  • Lead design of dashboards, scorecards, and self-service tools using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik

  • Deliver advanced analytics and AI-driven insights for forecasting, performance, and risk

  • Champion predictive analytics and intelligent decision systems across the enterprise

🔐 Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure BI outputs align with data governance, regulatory, and privacy standards (e.g., Basel III, BCBS 239)

  • Partner with IT and Data Governance on data integrity and platform security

🚀 Technology & Innovation

  • Evaluate and implement modern BI tools and platforms for better visualisation and real-time decision-making

  • Stay abreast of trends in financial analytics, cloud platforms, and AI in banking

✅ What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field

  • 10+ years’ experience in BI/Analytics, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity—ideally within financial services

  • Strong command of banking products, risk, and financial performance metrics

  • Proficient in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAS), SQL, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS)

  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting, Agile methodologies, and DevOps for analytics

  • Experience with AI/ML, regulatory reporting standards, and data science integration

  • Background in banking compliance and operational risk management
