Job description

​We are partnering with a leading global bank in Kuala Lumpur to hire experienced Engineering Leads to drive critical initiatives across their Payments and Cards technology portfolios. This is a high-impact leadership role within a major digital transformation program, ideal for engineering professionals with a strong background in microservices architecture and enterprise-scale solutioning.
You’ll be leading globally distributed teams, making key architectural decisions, and working closely with senior stakeholders to modernise and scale business-critical platforms.

🌟What You'll Do

  • Lead engineering teams across the delivery lifecycle—from solution design and development to deployment and optimisation.

  • Drive architectural direction and ensure alignment with global technology standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, business and operations.

  • Mentor and grow engineering talent within a distributed team environment.

  • Deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems in payments or card processing domains.

✅ What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with proven leadership in enterprise environments.

  • Strong expertise in Microservices architecture and API engineering.

  • Solid track record delivering complex, scalable systems within large organisations.

  • Domain experience in Payments or Card Processing is highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
