Engineering Lead

Our client, a leading bank, is growing its Engineering Division in the Philippines to support the rapid digital transformation across its business. As part of this expansion, they are hiring Team Heads to lead high-performing software engineering teams that build and manage the bank’s digital applications.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a strategic and hands-on role in shaping digital platforms that impact millions of customers.

🌟 Responsibilities

🔹 Lead a team of software engineers—providing mentorship, guidance, and career development support
🔹 Take ownership of system architecture and design, ensuring scalability and performance
🔹 Drive end-to-end delivery of complex software projects across the digital ecosystem
🔹 Conduct regular code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote engineering best practices
🔹 Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence
🔹 Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including design and implementation decisions

✅ Requirements

✔ Background in software engineering with current programming languages
✔ Demonstrable experience with APIs and microservices architectures
✔ Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies
✔ Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, etc.)
✔ Experience leading engineering teams and delivering scalable software solutions
✔ Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) is a plus
