Our client, a leading bank, is growing its Engineering Division in the Philippines to support the rapid digital transformation across its business. As part of this expansion, they are hiring Team Heads to lead high-performing software engineering teams that build and manage the bankโs digital applications.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a strategic and hands-on role in shaping digital platforms that impact millions of customers.
๐ Responsibilities
๐น Lead a team of software engineersโproviding mentorship, guidance, and career development support
๐น Take ownership of system architecture and design, ensuring scalability and performance
๐น Drive end-to-end delivery of complex software projects across the digital ecosystem
๐น Conduct regular code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote engineering best practices
๐น Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence
๐น Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including design and implementation decisions
โ Requirements
โ Background in software engineering with current programming languages
โ Demonstrable experience with APIs and microservices architectures
โ Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies
โ Knowledge of test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, etc.)
โ Experience leading engineering teams and delivering scalable software solutions
โ Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) is a plus
