React Native SME - Manager

​We’re excited to be partnering with a leading organisation in the aviation sector to support their mission of delivering cutting-edge, user-focused digital experiences.
As part of their ongoing digital transformation, we're helping them grow their mobile engineering capabilities and we're looking for a React Native Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Manager to join this journey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technology leader who is passionate about building high-performance mobile solutions and scaling impactful applications across platforms.

🔧 Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop reusable, scalable, and high-performing mobile components using React Native

  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and solution architects to deliver seamless cross-platform experiences

  • Optimise apps for performance, usability, and accessibility across various devices

  • Integrate APIs and third-party libraries while ensuring high security and reliability

  • Lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and drive Agile best practices within the team

✅ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)

  • Strong hands-on expertise in React Native, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript

  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile/web integration patterns

  • Experience with mobile build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and app release processes (App Store / Play Store)

  • Familiarity with mobile performance profiling and debugging tools

  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments
