Director - Compliance Due Diligence
Job description
We are partnering with an established private bank seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Compliance Due Diligence to join their Compliance team.
This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the onboarding and periodic review processes, ensuring compliance policies, procedures, and controls align with both internal standards and external regulations.
🔑 What You'll Do
Conduct due diligence reviews, including plausibility assessment of Source of Wealth (SOW) and identification of key risks for onboarding high-risk clients.
Lead planning, execution, and management of periodic reviews for high-risk clients.
Ensure reviews reflect new regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Identify and document compliance risks, control gaps, and support remediation efforts.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective solutions for identified issues.
Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the organization.
✅ What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CCO, CAMS) highly desirable.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in CDD/AML compliance within private banking or similar financial institutions.
Strong understanding of MAS regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
🎁 What's On Offer
Salary: SGD150,000 - SGD 200,000 (negotiable)
