Senior Vice President / Executive Director – Internal Audit
Job description
We are partnering with a leading global bank that is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) / Executive Director (ED) – Internal Audit to join their leadership team in Singapore. This is a critical, high-impact role reporting directly to the Group Head of Audit based in Europe.

🔑 What You'll Do
Lead and manage a team of 5 internal audit professionals, ensuring effective delivery of the annual audit plan
Provide independent assurance to senior management and regulators on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls
Oversee audits across banking functions including risk, compliance, operations, and finance
Collaborate with the Group Head of Audit and global audit teams to align local initiatives with group strategies
Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders
Mentor and develop audit staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Enhance audit methodologies and promote best practices in internal audit
✅ What We're Looking For
12+ years of internal audit experience within banking or financial services
Proven leadership of audit teams and delivery of complex audits
Strong knowledge of global banking operations, regulatory frameworks, and risk management
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking skills
Relevant certifications (e.g. CIA, CPA, CA, ACCA) are preferred
