Technical solution architect – FinTech

Job description

Our Client, a Leading International Bank, is looking for a Technical Solution Architect.

As a Lead Solution Architect you will focus on the end-to-end design and delivery of innovative FinTech solution used by teams within the bank across Asia. This role would fit an in and out technologist with expertise as a Solution architect and a deep understanding of complex back-end systems and interest to work with distributed systems and cloud tech.

Responsibilities:
  • Take accountability for creating solution designs using Java and API

  • Collaborate with bank governance, core systems, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance.

  • Implement architecture as code, ensuring its efficiency and maintainability.

  • Conduct architecture and design reviews to gather feedback and improve the overall quality of the solution.

  • Embrace a highly collaborative and fun-loving Agile methodology within the team.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in back end solution designs.

  • Strong knowledge of retail banking to understand specific industry requirements and challenges.

  • At least 10 years of Java server-side design an development experience, including core design patterns.

  • Expertise in microservices style architecture, design, and development.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies to facilitate efficient project execution.

  • Knowledge of mobile and web development to cater to various customer channels.

  • Familiarity with GIT, branching strategies, build and deployment pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data management.

  • Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and API gateways for modern infrastructure needs.
