A prominent organisation in the hospitality and tourism sector is currently seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join its innovative and forward-thinking team.
This role plays a pivotal part in their digital transformation journey, focusing on the development and execution of high-quality automation scripts for both UI and API testing.

 

πŸ”§ What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement robust automation strategies for both UI and API testing.

  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to integrate scalable test automation solutions.

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimise automation frameworks for efficiency and performance.

  • Contribute actively to Agile Scrum teams delivering high-impact digital transformation initiatives.

  • Ensure all automation processes align with industry standards and regulatory compliance.

 

βœ… What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance automation.

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with tools like Micro Focus UFT, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.

  • Skilled in scripting languages such as VBScript, Java, Python, or equivalent.

  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.).

  • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., banking, insurance, government) is a plus.

  • Experience with Agile Scrum practices and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • A quick learner with a passion for emerging technologies, including AI and intelligent automation.

  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
