Retail Credit Technical Consultant (SVP)
Job description
A large global bank is seeking an experienced Retail Credit Technical Consultant. In this role, you will drive large-scale transformation initiatives for a rapidly expanding financial institution. This is exciting growth opportunity to be part of a multi-year retail credit transformation program for a fast-growing financial institution. We are looking for experienced banking professionals with strong domain expertise and program management background.
You will be working with senior decision makers to drive strategic change and implementation across the region.
Responsibilities:
Drive waterfall/agile implementation with cross-functional teams and ensure technical plans are delivered as planned.
Work with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure requirements and technical designs are translated and effectively implemented
Work with engineering and business teams to define overall technology risks and roadmap, ascertain scalability, sustainability, costs and operations
Lead discussions with steering committee and senior decision makers, propose risk mitigation strategies as required
Requirements:
Solid knowledge in retail credit decision processes, decision management and credit scoring models
Expertise in credit portfolio management, origination, collection processes and systems
Strong technical solutioning and stakeholder engagement across business, operations and technology
Experience in SAS, FICO, Experian or equivalent
Regional project management experience, driving large-scale Retail Credit transformation initiatives
