Full Stack Developer
Job description
We are partnering with a global bank on a major digital transformation initiative within their online banking division. They are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join their agile engineering team.
You will play a key role in building scalable, high-performing systems and user-friendly web applications that power millions of transactions daily.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product and development teams to design and implement software solutions
Build responsive web applications with modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred)
Develop and manage APIs, databases, and services within a microservices architecture
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability through effective testing and optimisation
Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve existing systems
Contribute to documentation, best practices, and team knowledge sharing
What You Bring
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
Proficiency in Java, Angular, Kubernetes (OpenShift), Docker, Kafka, Jira, GitLab, Spring Boot, and Azure Dev Cloud
Strong understanding of design patterns and microservices
Experience working with databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB) and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and proactive approach
Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
