Full Stack Developer

Job description

We are partnering with a global bank on a major digital transformation initiative within their online banking division. They are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join their agile engineering team.
You will play a key role in building scalable, high-performing systems and user-friendly web applications that power millions of transactions daily.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to design and implement software solutions

  • Build responsive web applications with modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred)

  • Develop and manage APIs, databases, and services within a microservices architecture

  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability through effective testing and optimisation

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve existing systems

  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, and team knowledge sharing

 

What You Bring
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer

  • Proficiency in Java, Angular, Kubernetes (OpenShift), Docker, Kafka, Jira, GitLab, Spring Boot, and Azure Dev Cloud

  • Strong understanding of design patterns and microservices

  • Experience working with databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB) and CI/CD pipelines

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and proactive approach

  • Experience in banking or financial services is a plus
