Engineering Manager
Job description
An amazing opportunity has opened up at top finance firm in Singapore looking for a Java Team Lead / Engineering Manager to join a brand new core engineering function they are building out in 2024.
This new core engineering group is centered around Engineering Excellence and Innovation for the firm, and will focus on improving the capability and efficiency of developers across the firm.
In this role, you will lead a number of Java squads and build out greenfield enterprise-scale systems from scratch, as well as contribute to architectural decisions and technology road mapping.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures etc.)
7+ years' experience of development in Core Java and Java EE
2+ years' experience in Technical Lead or Engineering Manager role
Good understanding of TDD and modern clean code principles
Spring core concepts
Strong communication skills
