Engineering Lead – Digital Platforms Technology
Job description
We’re working with a leading bank in the Philippines that are hiring for a Head of Digital Platforms Technology.
You will be at the forefront of the firm’s efforts to modernise their technology stack, driving a revamp of the firm’s infrastructure and architecture using the industry-latest in cloud and opensource technologies.
Responsibilities
Designing the strategic roadmap for digital channel platform engineering across the firm.
Leading a talented group of engineers and driving the delivery of new digital platforms.
Managing project timelines and interacting with senior business stakeholders.
Contributing to hands-on development in Java and ReactJS where needed.
Requirements
10+ years’ experience of engineering experience.
3+ years’ experience of team leadership and people management.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures / algorithms).
Strong full stack hands-on experience with Java and ReactJS.
Good understanding of modern microservices architecture, cloud computing (AWS) and containerisation technologies (Kubernetes).
