Automation Test Lead

​We’re partnering with a major player in the tourism and hospitality industry to find a hands-on Automation Test Lead to spearhead a critical QA transformation initiative. This role is ideal for a technically strong, people-first leader who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is passionate about driving quality through automation.
As the Automation Test Lead, you’ll play a strategic and operational role—defining automation frameworks, mentoring teams, and embedding best practices across delivery pipelines.

🔧 What You’ll Do
  • Head and mentor a high-performing QA automation team.

  • Define automation strategies and drive tool selection and adoption.

  • Champion test automation in CI/CD and DevOps environments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams (Dev, BA, PO).

  • Manage JIRA workflows and sprint tracking dashboards.

  • Evaluate new testing tools through PoCs and innovation initiatives.

  • Promote a quality-first culture across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For
  • More than 10 years in QA automation, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Tosca, TestComplete, or UFT.

  • Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Proficient in JIRA project management and reporting.

  • Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager.

  • (Bonus) Background in tourism, hospitality, or large-scale consumer platforms.
