Lead Data Scientist
Job description
One of the largest financial services organizations in the region is looking for a lead data scientists that will be building out the company’s data science capability across business verticals. This role will be responsible for framing new business challenges, designing innovative models, implementing and deploying scalable solutions and enabling colleagues to full embrace AI. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the AI roadmap of a word class organization with very limited travel involved.
Responsibilities:
Advance the AI strategy and capability of the group
Work with business stakeholders to understand business problems and develop commercially viable AI driven solutions at scale
Build key relationships within the group and win the trust of business stakeholders
Build capabilities, processes, methodologies to shape the implementation of AI
Support senior members of the team to implement group wide AI projects
Requirements:
10+ years of hands on data science experience with modelling experience in R, Python
Extensive experience with building out commercially viable AI solutions at scale across industries
Extensive experience with building strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and strong commercial acumen
Candidates with experience of working at top tier consulting companies are preferred
Able to think strategically with an extensive hands on experience of implementing AI solutions
