Job Overview

A leading management consultancy is seeking a Cyber security Business Development Manager to expand their cyber security services portfolio. This job involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, promoting cyber security solutions, and fostering long-term client relationships within various industries.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans specifically tailored to cyber security services.

  • Identify potential clients and establish relationships within key markets, focusing on the unique cyber security needs of each sector.

  • Collaborate with consultancy teams to craft customized cyber security offerings that align with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Head the negotiation and closure of contracts, ensuring alignment with the consultancy's strategic goals and service capabilities.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge in cybersecurity consulting.

  • Organize and participate in industry conferences and professional gatherings to enhance our client's visibility and network with potential clients.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to executives and key decision-makers.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that highlight the consultancy’s cybersecurity expertise.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Cyber security, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Demonstrable experience business development, sales, or a similar role within the cyber security or consulting industry.

  • Working knowledge of cyber security concepts, trends, and regulations relevant to multiple industries.

  • Ability to communicate negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of establishing and maintaining senior-level client relationships.

  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind-set and the ability to solve complex problems.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Salary: MYR 500,000 / Annum
