Director – AI & Application Engineering (Pre-Sales)
Job description
We’re partnering with a global technology consulting leader delivering large-scale digital and application transformation across APAC.
The Role
A senior, client-facing role focused on driving application engineering and AI-led SDLC transformation across enterprise clients in Southeast Asia.
Lead client conversations on how AI is reshaping software development and engineering teams
Drive pre-sales, solutioning, and strategic pitches
Define roadmaps for modern application engineering (Java, .NET, cloud-native)
Act as a practitioner – owning the front-end of engagements before handing to delivery teams
Regional coverage across SEA, Korea, and China (travel required)
What We’re Looking For
Background in tech consulting (pre-sales / client-facing roles)
Strong understanding of modern application development and engineering practices
Experience advising on AI’s impact on the SDLC or engineering transformation
Exposure to modernisation (Agile, DevOps, cloud, app transformation)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working across Asia
Financial Services sector is strongly preferred
