SVP / Executive Director – Non-Financial Risk
Job description
We are partnering with a leading corporate and investment bank in Singapore to hire a Senior Vice President / Executive Director – Non-Financial Risk (NFR).
This is a strategic leadership role focused on shaping and executing the bank’s non-financial risk agenda, covering Operational Resilience, Regulatory Change Management, and Cross-Functional Risk Programs across APAC.
🔑 What You'll Do
Lead the operational resilience strategy and ensure compliance with MAS and global regulations
Oversee risk assessments, scenario testing, and business continuity planning
Act as the senior escalation point for NFR incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation
Monitor and implement regulatory changes across jurisdictions
Lead regulatory readiness programs to ensure enterprise-wide compliance
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs on cross-border regulatory implementation
Integrate risk frameworks into digital transformation and automation initiatives
✅ What We're Looking For
12+ years in risk management within banking or financial services
Deep understanding of Asia-Pacific regulations, especially MAS
Proven delivery of large-scale regulatory or risk change programs
Strong cross-functional engagement across front office, operations, compliance, and tech
Prior experience in audit or regulatory bodies in Singapore/Asia is highly preferred
Outstanding leadership and communication skills with stakeholder management capabilities at the senior level
