Engineering Manager – Digital Banking Technology
Job description
We’re working with a top bank who are looking for a passionate Engineering Manager to join a growing Digital Banking function.
A huge expansion area for the firm, they are looking for technical engineering managers who can help drive the transformation into modern digital technology environments, with an ability to lead from the front. You will be managing several squads, shaping technology strategy and leading the build out of a modern digibank application that directly impacts millions of consumers daily.
Specifically, the firm has invested in a large delivery centre in China, and they are looking for Mandarin-speakers who are able to manage some squads from Singapore.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures etc.)
10+ years' experience of development in Core Java and Java EE.
3+ years' experience in Team Lead or Engineering Manager role.
Good understanding of TDD and modern clean code principles.
Good understanding of Spring core concepts.
An ability to speak Mandarin to a business level is strongly advised.
Salary negotiable between $180,000 - $250,000
