Cloud Architect (GCP)
Job description
An international bank currently in their Cloud Transformation phase has an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Architect specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This will be a crucial role for the bank and you will be focused on helping them transition to a hybrid cloud environment.
Your Role
Design GCP services for the bank with a focus on security, resilience, and availability.
Produce solution architecture and designs tailored to Google cloud environments.
Collaborate with application architects to create solutions for specific tasks.
Create prototypes to test designs and ensure they adhere to standards.
Engage with cloud service providers to improve services based on bank requirements.
Foster relationships with architects and engineers to encourage the adoption of cloud technologies.
Requirements
Deep experience with Google Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure
Robust understanding of application development and ability to assess readiness for cloud
Experienced with cloud security and governance
Experienced with large scale cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments
Ability to conceptualize POCs and further deliver on it
Implementing an Agile and DevOps culture
