My client, a global corporation focused on luxury, entertainment, resorts, and gaming, is searching for a Senior System Administrator/Engineer to handle their Infrastructure services for AS400 and IBM Iseries.
Job Description
Support the Infra Lead in managing the AS400 iSeries Product and Operation Services.
Provide iSeries support to both IT and business user.
Manage the Risk and Security & Vulnerability remediation for iSeries in compliance to the security best practices.
Responsible for Firmware and OS upgrades, Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning, PTF installation.
Manage 3rd party software, vendors on upgrades, and implementation
To be a successful applicant
Must have hands-on experience with IBM Iseries/as400 application structure and operating systems, IBM i OS V7R3, V7R5, IBM VIOS Virtual Machine Environment
Experience in ITIL and processes in Service Request, Incident, problem and change management.
Technical ability to perform troubleshooting with technical teams
