Head of Red Team

A renowned financial exchange is on the lookout for an exceptional leader to helm their Red Team, driving cutting-edge cyber defense strategies and simulations. In this role, you will operate as a visionary who thrives on challenging and enhancing their cybersecurity posture through sophisticated red-team exercises and collaborative defense mechanisms.

Your Role:
  • Direct and evolve our Red Team operations, setting the standard for cybersecurity excellence and resilience.

  • Strategically design and implement comprehensive internal and external red-team drills to identify vulnerabilities, ensuring rapid deployment of countermeasures.

  • Benchmark and elevate our cyber defense capabilities in line with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, ensuring a robust and proactive security posture.

  • Lead security evaluations across critical infrastructures, including trading and clearing systems, to fortify against evolving cyber threats.

  • Stay at the forefront of cyber risk intelligence, integrating insights to preempt and mitigate potential threats to our operations.

  • Swiftly identify and respond to emerging cyber risks, orchestrating effective strategies to enhance our operational resilience.

  • Engage with industry leaders, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement to share insights and strengthen our collective cybersecurity efforts.

Requirements:
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills, capable of steering the team towards unparalleled success.

  • Deep background in information security, computer science, or a closely related field, complemented by a deep understanding of cyber threat landscapes.

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role in offensive security disciplines.

  • Expertise in designing and executing red-team exercises, with a proven track record of enhancing cyber defense mechanisms.

  • A strategic thinker with a knack for identifying and mitigating cyber risks before they escalate.

  • Proficiency in the latest cybersecurity technologies and frameworks, with certifications in offensive security, cyber defense, or threat intelligence (e.g., CREST, OSCE3, OSCP, GIAC) viewed favorably.

  • An ability to foster strong professional relationships, contributing positively to the cybersecurity community and beyond.

Salary: HK$1.5 mil - HK$1.8 mil (Negotiable)
