Business Analyst - Trade Ops (12-Month Contract)
Job description
A major bank is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst in trade operations. In this role, you will report to the Head of Operations and be responsible for managing the day to day activities within operations, including ensuring the risk and controls assessment regionally.
Your Role:
Oversee and manages the team to ensure daily critical functions are carried out within timelines and adheres to procedures and guidelines.
Guide and assists staff in streamlining new workflow & processes.
Review current processes & controls and ensure team members adhere to the internal controls.
Assist in performing due diligence on service providers.
Participate in projects under the group initiatives for areas that impact cash operations such as front office system change and review SOPs.
Review existing workflow and processes and work with IT team for streamlining and automation of processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Management, Banking and Finance or related
10 years of experience in a similar role working in investment operations support of a fund management or asset management firm.
Project management skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
