Business Analyst - Trade Ops (12-Month Contract)

Job description

A major bank is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst in trade operations. In this role, you will ​report to the Head of Operations and be responsible for managing the day to day activities within operations, including ensuring the risk and controls assessment regionally. 

Your Role: 

  • Oversee and manages the team to ensure daily critical functions are carried out within timelines and adheres to procedures and guidelines.

  • Guide and assists staff in streamlining new workflow & processes.

  • Review current processes & controls and ensure team members adhere to the internal controls.

  • Assist in performing due diligence on service providers.

  • Participate in projects under the group initiatives for areas that impact cash operations such as front office system change and review SOPs.

  • Review existing workflow and processes and work with IT team for streamlining and automation of processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Management, Banking and Finance or related

  • 10 years of experience in a similar role working in investment operations support of a fund management or asset management firm. 

  • Project management skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
