VP - PMO Lead

We are partnering with a well-established regional financial institution with a strong footprint across Asia to hire a VP, PMO Lead. This role sits at the heart of large-scale transformation initiatives, playing a critical role in driving governance, visibility, and execution discipline across complex, multi-stream programmes.
This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned PMO leader who thrives in structured environments, enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, and has strong exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven programmes.
Role Overview
You will act as the central governance lead across key programmes, ensuring alignment across delivery teams, maintaining oversight on performance, and driving consistency in reporting, risk management, and resource planning. You will also play a key role in strengthening PMO capabilities and embedding best practices across the organisation.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related discipline
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly regarded
Formal training or exposure to programme governance, portfolio management, or PMO frameworks
Strong academic or professional foundation in analytical and problem-solving disciplines
Demonstrated ability to operate within structured, process-driven environments
Job Requirements
At least 10 years of experience within financial services, with a strong focus on programme or PMO functions
Proven track record supporting regulatory, compliance, or financial crime-related initiatives
Hands-on experience managing portfolio-level reporting, governance forums, and performance tracking
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across business and technology teams
Experience leading or mentoring PMO teams and driving process improvements
