​We’re Hiring a Lead Data Scientist for a Global Hedge Fund
If you’re a Data Scientist who wants your work to directly influence investment decisions, this role is for you.
My client, a global hedge fund, is building a next-generation Market Intelligence team inside a focused on deploying AI solutions and agentic workflows that enhance how Portfolio Managers generate alpha across long/short equities.

🔍What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build AI-driven tools that augment equity research and idea generation

  • Design agentic workflows that automate insight discovery from structured + unstructured data (earnings calls, filings, news, alt data)

  • Partner directly with Portfolio Managers to translate market inefficiencies into scalable signals

  • Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy models in a high-feedback, high-performance environment

🧠What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience building AI/ML solutions for long/short equities

  • 8-12 years of strong hands-on skills (Python, ML frameworks, LLMs, data pipelines)

  • A commercial mindset—you care about alpha, not just model accuracy

  • Ability to operate at pace, handle volume, and deliver under pressure

  • Fluency in Mandarin + English (critical for data and stakeholder interaction)
